'ZECA' Medium Duty Spring Operated Cable Reels

This range of reels comes with cable ready fitted to the drum and the range includes cable sections up to 16 cores and core sizes up to 4mm2 whilst payout lengths vary with cable size.  

All reels have a protection rating of IP42 as standard, a number of options are also available including reels pre-fitted with a range of hand lamps for workshop use.

These reels feature a shock resistant plastic case and include a ratchet stop device every 50cm which can be easily removed if constant traction of the cable is required. Sliprings have brass rings and bushes and protection degree is IP42 as standard. The maximum working voltage is 230v and cable specification is H05VV-F, Working temperature range is from  -5 to + 40 deg C.

Cable sections up to 3c x 1.5mm2 are available, also included in the range is a single core 6mm2 earthing reel

 

Mini Reels are also available pre-fitted with a range of hand lamps as shown

The 4000 & 5000/X range of cable reels have an external case made from yellow shock resistant plastic and feature a ratchet stop device every 50cm, this can be easily disabled if constant cable traction is required. Also fitted as standard to every drum is a pivot fixing bracket allowing 310 deg movement.

Cable sections vary with earthing reels up to 16mm2 and standard multi cores up to 8 core with core sizes from 1.0mm2 up to 2.5mm2, payout lengths vary  up to 14m dependant on cable size

Standard options include a fixed position fixing bracket and a rubber cable sleeve which increases the protection degree from IP42 to IP43 as shown below

The 6000/PR range of cable reels have an external case made from Die-cast aluminium whereas Series 7000 reels have shock resistant plastic casings, both types feature a ratchet stop device every 50cm which can be easily disabled if constant cable traction is required. Also fitted as standard to every drum is a pivot fixing bracket allowing 310 deg movement.

Cable sections vary with earthing reels up to 16mm2 and standard multi cores up to 16 core with core sizes from 1.0mm2 up to 4.0mm2, payout lengths vary  up to 27m dependant on cable size

Standard options include a fixed position fixing bracket and a rubber cable sleeve which increases the protection degree from IP42 to IP43.

 

 

 

Cable roller guides are available to suit the full range of SIMBAL medium duty cable drums. All guides ar manufactured from galvanised or painted sheet steel with shock resistant nylon rollers. Details of the individual guides can be seen on the data sheet (download below)
