RSJ Festoon Cable Systems
There are two distinct types of RSJ Festoon systems in the SIMBAL range, the Light Duty range is a system featuring trolleys which follow the hoist or travelling machine and actually run on the bottom flange of the runway beam, the Heavy Duty trolleys are designed to carry multiple cables and usually run on a dedicated beam alongside the actual machine runway.
Light Duty RSJ Festoon Systems
Designed to run on the bottom flange of the hoist runway beam, this range of trolleys offers a simple and cost effective solution if you do not have a trolley parking restriction. The trolley width can be adjusted to suit the beam width and the trolleys then simply run on the runway beam and follow the hoist.
Heavy Duty RSJ Festoon Systems
This range of trolleys is desigend to carry multiples of large cables with capacities ranging from 60kg up to 500kg per trolley. The trolleys run on a dedicated RSJ or I - Beam and are normally linked together with towing chains to relieve tension on the cables.
Longer systems with multiple cables can easily be accomodated, all wheels have steel runners on ball bearings with available travelling speeds up to 150 meters/minute.
Trolley bodies and cable saddles can be finished in standard paint, epoxy paint or galvanised as required, stainless steel trolleys are also available - all trolleys are available with cable formers for flat or round form cables.
