Drum Reeling Cables

Drum Reeling Cables

Drum Reeling cables, as the name suggests are specially designed and constructed to accommodate the tight bend radii and constant bending associated with drum reeling applications.

There are a number of different types of Drum Reeling cable available, the most popular being the cost effective Neoprene version (NSHTOU-J) and Polyurathene sheath cables which offere a reduced outer diameter at a slightly higher cost :-

DRUMFLEX NSHTOU-J

This is the traditional, lower cost option it is an EPR/PCP construction and is a very flexible hard wearing cable suitable for most indoor & outdoor drum reeling applications. We carry this cable in a large range of sizes

SEMOFLEX

Again. specifically designed for drum reeling applications, this cable provides all the features of DRUMFLEX with the added advantages of greater flexibility due to the PUR sheath and smaller outside diameter due to the use of special SEMOCORE insulation compound. Although this cable is more expensive than Drumflex, the reduced cable diameter often allows the selection of a smaller cable reeling drum which can result in significant cost savings on the project as a whole.

TROMMELFLEX PUR-HF

Similar to SEMOFLEX but with Polurathene Inner & Outer sheath, this cable is especially suited to very heavy duty reeling applications with an operating temperature range from -40 degC up to +90 deg C
