The Wave push button radio is a comprehensive range of standard remote control systems featuring up to 12 command buttons
IMET M550 Hydraulic radio systems are designed for remote control of a large range of hydraulically operated machines
M550 Joystick radio systems are available with up to 4 bi-axial joysticks, or a combination of joysticks, switches & buttons
Never mind how large the range of standard products, there are still some applications which require special solutions.
IMET development engineers have many years experience in the design of bespoke radio systems and can offer a solution to suit most requirements, shown below is a a brief introduction to some of the more popular special solutions available :-
SIMBAL / IMET 'MTRS' Radio control systems allow integration between multiples of radio Transmitters & Receivers providing a cost effective and simple solution to Master / Slave and Pitch & Catch applications. System combinations can include up to 8 Transmitters and 16 Receivers with fast & easy transfer of permission between transmitters. This allows safe control of multiple machines from a single transmitter, and/or a single machine from multiple transmitters with built in system locks to prevent more than one operator attempting to operate a machine simultaneously. 'MTRS' is available using either WAVE Push button, or ZEUS/THOR Joystick style transmitters.
The i-REaDy Infra Red start up is an additional safety feature, designed to reduce the possibility of accidental crane operation. Unlike radio signals, the infra red beam requires a directional link between transmitter and receiver, once the infra red link has been completed, crane control is by standard radio signal, ie the directional command is only necessary at start up.
The transmitter is recogniseable via the two small Infra Red transmitting LED'S (see below), The I-READY receiver is a small self contained box sitting
alongside the main radio receiver
SIMBAL 'IMET' Radio Control systems are also available with ATEX Ex certification, ATEX radios are only available using joystick style transmitters - please contact SIMBAL Sales office on 01298 813883 for more information.
Even with the huge range of standard products available from IMET, there are still some obscure applications which require a special solution, any combination of buttons, switches, joysticks and potentiometers can be incorporated to control both on/off and proportional signals - whatever your requirement there is sure to be a remote radio solution available.
